What Do Dark Patches Inside The Cheeks Be Treated?
my inside cheeks has a dark patches on both sides and have been there for nearly 2years.and there has a wound on the back side walls of the tongue on thatwound the half part of the flesh is not there.I chew tobacco too...and sumtimes feels itchy on my roof of the mouth.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain dark patches on the cheeks can be due to increased melanin pigmentation secondary to continue trauma caused due to tobacco chewing but in case if there are also lesions over the cheeks it is a suspicious case..
Also wounds on tongue with loss of flesh and also with a tobacco chewing habit can be a suspicious case and might be malignant lesion and you need immediate medical assistance..
Consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and a biopsy all the lesions has to be carried out for ruling out the exact cause of the lesions and treatment will be advised accordingly..
But my sincere advise is Do not delay it please..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
