What Do Cluster Of Red Spots On Back Of An Infant Indicate?

My one year old has a clustered looking red spot on the top of her back and a bigger and brighter one on her lower back, didn t know if it could be a sign of AVM? My mom had brain surgery because of AVM. My daughter is also small for her age and still seems like an 8 month old. Not sure if I should have her tested?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...I think you are right. It could be an AVM. But even if it is an AVM, it is not certain that the same problem would be there in the brain. But I am a bit cautious here in committing because - Skin and eye conditions are best diagnosed only after seeing directly. I suggest you to upload photographs of the same on this website, so that I can guide you scientifically.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
