What Do Chest And Stomach Pain After Using Nitroglycerin Transdermal Patch Indicate?

I started the nitro patch two days ago. I am feeling chest pain, heavyness, top of stomach pain, discomfort. I was also prescribed ranexa but was not able to take it. I tried taking it for 5 days and the discomfort it caused scared me. Had double bypass 7 years ago, have anginia since surgery. Have had 4 heart cat over the pass 7 years. lifting ,bending, moving in a hurry all cause problems.It is difficult to determind weather to go to the hospital ot take more meds and go to bed.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
