What Do Blisters On Tongue In Case Of Fever And Nausea Indicate?
i have been sick for a week with an upset stomach, vomiting and have been very fatigued. i also had a fever off and on, the highest at 101.3. i woke this morning feeling better but noticed sores and blisters on my tongue and on the insides of my gums, as well as in my throat. I am wondering what the cause of the blisters might be and what they are?
As per your query there are blisters on your tongue and gums while suffering from fever and stomach problem . The most probable cause of blisters are canker sore . They occur due to many reasons but in your case it seems to me that there are two factors responsible . First due illness immunity of person goes down . secondly due to stomach problem there occur nutritional deficiency . Usually canker sore goes away by there own without any treatment in few days . I would suggest you to do warm saline rinses , start taking multivitamin supplement specially containing vitamin B 12 and folic acid . If condition persists for longer period of time then consult oral pathologist for proper evaluation.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Dr. Harry Maheshwari
