What Do Black Worms In Stool Of An Infant Indicate?

Hi my son is 20 weeks old n I m observing regular appearance of black thread like worms in his stools . Worms dont seems alive or moving.my sons appetite is considerably reduced n his solid intake is at almost zero level .plz suggest any remedy n explain the disease

This is worm infestation which is common in pediatric age group. It can be cured by deworming with a syrup albandazole (200mg) single dose. If child is having habits of pica then you need to stop that to prevent reccurence by giving haematinics ,vitamines and calcium suppliments.
