What Do Bacteria Growth And Epithelial Cells In Urine Mean?
Hi I m 12weeka pregnant and had my urine sample tested last week which showed protein the midwife then sent of for analysis which has come back with epithelials and heavy bacteria growth is this something to be worried about as I m to have it re tested ASAP I m very concerned as iv had renal failure in the past thanks in advance

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
UTI is indicated by presence of heavy bacteria in urine.
UTI is not good for pregnancy.You need immediate medical attention.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
