I had slight back pains which is now gone. Im having headaches and dizziness. I took 2 preg test was neg. Please help.
With a diagnosis of PCOS, it is expected that you will have menstrual irregularities and it is not surprising that you wouldn't miss your period.
This does not necessarily require treatment, however, if you are not ovulating normally and not having normal menstruation, the lining of your uterus make it thick which can increase the risk for endometrial cancer.
I would certainly discuss this with your doctor the next time you see them, and they may want to put you on oral contraceptives.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
