Hello, I just got partial results back from my 24 hr urinalysis.....they ready Protein U24 is 49mg with the range being 15mg-150mg, Protein UR is 7mg range being 0.0-12mg, Protein U ELP is 7mg, range being 0.0-12mg. They all seem to be within range, but WHAT do these stand for? I am waiting for the following to be posted tomorrow Albumin %U, Alpha 1% U, Alpha 2 % U, Beta % U, Gama % U. I was sent by my Rheumatologist, who found An abnormal protein band in the gamma globulins which may represent a monoclonal immunoglobulin or light chain. in recent bloodwork. Alpha 2 was at 1.0 (high) by their range on the SPEP, CCP Ab IgG was negative, IFE Interpretation was IgM lambda monoclonal band present. The only thing the Dr could tell me what that I may have lymphoma. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Joy
