General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are experiencing the symptoms of UTI. Other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are diabetes, nerve damage, stroke, anxiety, cancer or bladder tumors, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get required tests done. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S), if UTI is detected you will be treated with a course of antibiotics.

Get connected to a physical therapist. Some physical exercises will help to relax the pelvic floor muscles. Nerve conduction velocity test and blood glucose tests are done to detect any nerve disorder or neuropathy. You will be treated accordingly. Hots baths will help to relax the pelvic floor. Your treating doctor will treat you with oral medicines or sacral nerve stimulation. Sometimes, when a patient does not respond to the treatment being given then surgery is recommended.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
