Weight gain occurs when the amount of energy taken in as food is greater than the total amount of energy expenditure. So, in order to lose weight, you need to cut down on the total amount of food intake on one hand and increase the total energy output in some form or the other. How you do it does not really matter but that is the path to be followed. I am not giving you a dietary regimen as just keeping the larger picture in mind should serve the purpose.
I understand that you are already doing much of walking but there should be more scope of energy output and you would have to figure it out. You can also opt for electrical muscle stimulation therapy which is available at many slimming centres.
