What Could White, Tiny Pimples Outlining The Lips Causing Puffiness Indicate?

I have white tiny pimple outlining my lips that are sometimes painful when you touch it - like poked with a pin. Also seems to affect the skin under the lip as it looks puffy and red, especially in the corners of my lips. The lips themselves feel swollen and sore, tight like after you been in sun to long with a tingling. With my tongue it feels like bumps also along inside though can't see anything...

Thanks for the query,

The most probable cause of the white pimple on lip is fordyce granule or spot .

These are basically benign skin lesions and tend to occur in certain predisposed people. They can develop over the oil glands.

Calamine lotion is not seen to help in resolving fordyce spots..

Tretinoin gel or cream can help in resolving the fordyce spots.

You can also start taking multivitamin supplements for at least 10 days .

There are other treatment options available like :-

-cryosurgery.

- surgical excision.

- laser therapy line CO2 laser .
