What Could Warts On The Genital Area Indicate?

I have two warts in my genital area. Two different types. I think the first one is a flat wart and the second I don t really know. I used a at home wart remover and they grew back a year later. Recently, I saw a video about HPV and if these warts are possibly normal or are they caused by some type of disease

Hello,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.com
Genital warts are painless lesions which may be present over shaft, glans frenulum or foreskin as well. They are cause by viral infection due to human papilloma virus. The virus can be contracted due to unprotected sexual intercourse both natural as well unnatural. It usually manifest as painless papular lesions over glans and other parts of penis.
Confirmed diagnosis of genital warts can be made by a venereologist. Treatment involves application of local medication, cryotherapy, electrocautrization, injectable interferons. Besides this maintain genital hygiene, don't scratch the lesions, wash hands after touching the wart, avoid sexual contact if it is uncomfortable, apply cold compresses or oral acetaminophen can be used to relieve discomfort.

I would recommend you to consult a venereologist for treatment.

Thank you.
