What Could Vomit Bright Green Color Indicate?

I m 19 weeks pregnant and yesterday I got sick. I never had morning sickness before. I didn t have anything to eat besides two boiled eggs earlier in the day and I drank nearly a gallon of sink water but I found out that it was the sink water making me suddenly sick. With fever body ache and headache. So I stopped and went to sleep but when I woke up I drank from a bottled water which made me feel better but after drinking it I finally felt like throwing up that night, but when I did it was a bright green. Is that normal?

Hello,

It can be the color of the food and this is not necessarily the same coming in and going out due to digestive effects. However, BILE often backs up and this is more common in pregnancy. Cannot say in your particular case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
