What Could Vaginal Ultrasound While Having Arthritis And Fluid In Hip Show?
yes, my wife had an x-ray of her hip which lead to an MRI of her hip which lead to an vaginal ultrasound. the doctor said that she had a lot of arthritis in her hip and that the MRI showed fluid. That is when he wanted her to have in vaginal ultrasound. Would the vaginal ultrasound be to look at the hip or might there be another concern?

Ultrasonography is not for bony structure, and for that MRI, CT and X-ray are the best options, if you want to rule out something related with hip joint then you better discus this with orthopedic surgeon have his opinion, which would be test, hope this information helps, take care.
