What Could Un-pigmented Patches/streaks On Abdomen Suggest?

Last night, my husband & I noticed white lines on his abdomen starting at his chest. The only info I've found references sun spots but his aren't spots or clusters of spots. They're more like un-pigmented streaks. Just came up last night. He was in the sun yest but only for about 30 mins.

Hi.
As per your case history the white lines on abdomen of your husband maybe striae distensae.
My treatment advice-
1. These are physiological changes due to either weight gain or loss.
2. Use vitamin e oil (Emessa) twice daily on it for 12-14 weeks. Aloe-vera gel application may also help.
3. Other treatment options like topical retnoids, oral vitamin E can be given only after consulting dermatologist.

Thanks.
