What Could Sudden Abdominal Pain With Sweats And Chills Indicate?

Hello doctor. I was working today at my desk. After lunch I was working at the computer and have an afternoon snack (four cookies and a cold drink). About an hour later, I was driving to the store and begin to have a sharp stomach pain with some sweat and chills. the sweat and chills lasted just under an hour but the pain remains. I took alka seltzer just about 4:30. Waited one hour, the chills were gone, but the pain remain. I still had dinner (pizza) and the pain is now almost unbearable. Not sure if I should take more alka seltzer (not working) or go to the ER.

Ayurveda Specialist 's  Response
this seems to be a case of acute typhitis i.e. inflammation of caecum this mimics like acute appendicitis, this occurs mostly after heavy food, taken in anxious state or hurriedly. please take following primary care
1. apply asphotida on abdomen
2. asphotida 1/2gm with Kapur 1/2gm SOS
3. please consult any ayurvedic physician and Shankhavati is to be taken after meals
4. Zenmax tab (shankar pharmacy) for mental peace
