What Could Soft With Hard Center, Painful To Touch Lump On Neck With Family History Of Cancer Indicate?

I have an outward lump on my left side of neck. I first thought it was an insect bit, but now it has been several months and it is soft with a hard center and is slightly painful to touch. Any ideas? I am 46 yrs old and a smoker. My father passed away from lung cancer and my other passed away from leukemia. Is this something common?

Hello

Well, this is a cause of concern and i would like you to meet your doctor as soon as possible!
I would also like to know if you are having any difficulty in swallowing, speaking of breathing?
And also if you have any nose obstruction or bleeding from nose?
Thanks
