General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to peripheral capillaries damaged during insertion or removal of syringe. Usually it will resolves on its own within a few days. You can apply ice pack. Use ointment Thrombophob for better recovery. After physician consultation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
