What Could Red Blotches On Face Followed By Cold And Sinus Indicate?

Hi. My daughter is going to be 4 next month. She has had a cold or sinus infection for about a week with thick yellow mucus coming out when she sneezes. The last few days I think she may have sores in her nose and it bleeds some. And today she woke up and has red blothches on her face. What can this be and what can I do to help her? Thank you very much for any help you can give me.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The sores in nose are likely to be due to crusted secretion. Red blotches or rashes are usually seen in children during upper respiratory tract infection.
I would suggest you the following which will definitely be helpful
1. Steam Inhalation:15-20 minutes each session thrice a day
2. Normal Saline nasal drops for instillation into nose
