What Could Recurring Dull Pain In Upper Right Side Indicate?

For the past few weeks I have been experiencing a dull pain at uper right side. I paid attention to see whether or not is related to food. Sometimes yes, but there have been instances when the pain is there even though I haven t had anything to eat. Should I got go to see a doctor and have it checked?

Hi,

There are to many causes that leads right side dull pain such as:
1) Gallbladder issues
2) Liver issues
3) Sometimes, muscle / rib inflammation may cause the pain
4) GERD (commonly know as acidity) does sometimes present with that picture

In order to come up with proper diagnosis:
a) A complete physical examination is required
b) Ultra Sound in needed to distinguish between various conditions along with a blood report.

Hence, I do suggest you to visit a primary care provider or if you can go to a surgeon straight will be great option.
