Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Popping Of Knees And Subsequent Pain Indicate?
I was playing hockey, I am a goalie, I went down to make a save and felt two pops in my left knee. One on the inside and one on the outside.I can still walk on it but I cannot lift myself up on it as the pain is excruciating. It feels really weird and is only slghtly painful at rest.
Your symptoms could be related to a ligament or menisc rupture. For this reason, I recommend consulting with an orthopedist and performing a knee MRI study.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
