I have a painful lump on the outer side of my genitals near the groin area. I am female. It is softish but a definite lump. It is about a 1.5cm across and is redish. I can t tell if it s dimpled or not but it has what looks like a small unraised mole to one side of it. Not sure if mole or not can t remember one being there? Comes up bigger and is more painful when my period is due. Had it recurring for about a year on and off. Could you shed some light on what it could be please? Many thanks
Hi, It seems that you might be having chronic inguinal lymphadenitis giving this problem. It shows that there might be having some infection in surrounding area like inner thigh, lower genitals like labia, vagina etc. It may precipitates during period due to poor local hygiene. Consult your doctor and get examined. After examination, go for treatment accordingly. Keep local hygiene clean, well shaved, dry perticularly during period. Ok and take care.
