What Could Painful Lump Behind Ear With Swollen Lymph Node In Cervical Area Suggest?

Yesterday morning I woke up with a painful lump behind my right ear(mastoid area). No dental problems, no ear aches but the lump was painful to touch and throbbing. Later that evening, a noticed a painful large (about an inch across in diameter) swollen lymph node....the cervical area, the area between the mastoid and that area was also swollen and painful to touch. This evening I noticed a large swollen lump behind the left ear. I was achy and tired all day. Although the doctor has been doing several tests because I have been complaining of debilitating fatigue. I recently started on cpap, in hopes that that was the problem for the fatigue.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have mastoiditis or other infection It leads to enlarged lymphnode. You should take antibiotics according like amoxiclav or cefadroxil. Antihistaminic drugs like citrizine or chlorpheneremine malate can be taken. It your enlarged lymphnode does not respond to treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
