What Could Pain With Lumps On Back Suggest?

Hello, I am a white male- 51 years old. My back has been hurting me in addition to my left shoulder blade and left side of my neck to the middle of my back. Last night I asked my wife to rub my back and she exclaimed that there was a "lump" or two that she could feel in the middle of my back near my spine. What could that be?

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

I think it is a sebaceous gland infection. The sebaceous glands are glands in the skin that secrete an oily or waxy matter.
In these cases minor operation, and antibiotic medications are necessary.

Consult your surgeon.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
