What Could On And Off Pain In Neck With History Of Sudden Shock Involving The Neck Indicate?

I was standing on a hockey field and a player ran directly into me from behind at speed with the impact causing a immediate shock. I had neck pain immediately after and general back ache. now six months later I get intermittent neck/head ache and also am experiencing shortness of breath - any ideas?

It needs an MRI to rule out injury or false attachment, after that orthopedic surgeon can tell on the basis of report. Moreover, physiotherapy can be helpful but after recommendation by surgeon.
