General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and thanks for writing.

I can understand you concern and would try to help you in the best possible way.You symptoms could be due to migraine with aura. The best way to control migraine is by two ways.
Firstly the acute pain episode is taken care of by giving painkillers like NSAIDs. Then long term reduction of episodes is achieved by drugs like triptans and beta blockers. By following these regimens these episodes can be successfully controlled.

I believe you can understand the I cannot prescribe any medication without obtaining a comprehensive medical history of your husband. I therefore suggest you to see a physician and speak to him about the various choices available.
