What Could It Be If Having Pricking Sensation In Chest, Lower Back When Having Bad Coughing Spells Which Leaves A Pain In Chest?
HI, I am getting pins and needles in my chest and lower back when I have bad coughing spells. After the pins & needles go away, I am left with an ache in my chest. I have been coughing from Bronchitis for a little over two weeks now.
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of either worsening of bronchitis or lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) is more. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray to rule out lung infection and PFT for the diagnosis of worsening of bronchitis. You may need antibiotics, antihistamines drugs with inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). So first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.
