What Could It Be If Experiencing Joint Pain, Fatigue, Malaise, Gastro-intestinal Issues, Loud Bowel Sounds?

Hello, my name is John. I am a 47 year white male. I have been experiencing symptoms of joint pain, joint weakness, fatigue, malaise, and gastro-intestinal upset, loud bowel sounds. The joint pain is intense, disfiguring, temporary (4 days), and debilitating, My GP believes that it is gout. I am almost a vegetarian, no beef, no pork, no dairy products. I watch how much protein is consumed. I contacted the CDC in this area public health department, they concluded that there is an increase in gout. I thought this may be very unusual. I believe I have septic arthritis.

Thank you Dr. Grief for getting back to me.
