What Could Green Sputum With Chest Congestion During Chemotherapy Suggest?

hello, I am receiving chemo for breast cancer, my last treatment was on tuesday jan 25 on sat I had a fever of 102.1 chills, and over all aches, and pains.. I stayed in bed for a few days..I also developed chest congestion, and am coughing up green sputum....not always, as sometimes nothing comes up, I have shortness of breath also

There could be few causes of congestion at this moment.
firstly since you also had a fever then likely these are symptoms of infection which need antibiotics.

Even the shortness of breath is explained by infection

Another reason of shortness of breath could be due to chemo effect on heart. It can also be ruled out with 2DEcho doppler of the heart.

Kindly involve your local physician at earliest as infection can flare in patients on chemotherapy
