What Could Gram Negative Diplococci In HVS Test Result Suggest?
I am a 25yrs old female. I did a HVS test and this are the results. pus cells - scanty; gram neg diplococci - no GC seen; mixed organisms - moderate; clue cells- absent; trichomonas - absent; yeast - absent. However, I n otice some very thick white discharge when I defecate, I am assuming it's from the vagina. Please what could be wrong

The HVS test suggests presence of some pus cells and gram negative diplococcus bacteria.
There is no evidence of trichomonas infection and fungal infection.
Thus, you are free from these two infections.
presence of gram negative diplococcus bacteria suggests shift in vaginal flora.
Shift in vaginal flora occurs due to change in pH of vagina.
The pus during defaecation can be due to shift in vaginal flora.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and thus treatment.
