I have gone through your question and understand your concern. The faint test line with HPT is indicative of either faulty technique of conducting test or sample collection.
To reconfirm positive pregnancy test have to be repeated, follow the instructions on the HPT kit carefully to avoid any confusion over result. Sometimes if the test is taken too early that is just a day or two after missed periods the result maybe inconclusive and requires retesting after a week or two.
A more accurate test to confirm pregnancy is ultra sound abdomen and pelvis and / or blood beta HCG levels.
