Normally when I have eat fruits I have a lot of bananas and strawberries. I don t usually have apples because they are so hard for me to bite into. but lately all I ve wanted is apples. Hello there,
An abnormal craving for a particular foodstuff at times can be a subconscious urge of the body to get something that the foodstuff is rich in. It can also be a sign of a vitamin deficiency. You need to get a CBC of your blood done which will cover Hb, RBC count, MCV which are the most likely to have an abnormal value. This is caused in part due to an iron deficiency(something which apples are traditionally rich in and hence the craving).

Hope this helps,
You can get the tests done if required and get back to me. I will be happy to help you,
