What Could Elevated RBC Level In Urine Routine With Abdominal Pain Indicate?

I am 47year old female and suffered pain in lower abdomen and obstruction in urine flow. I got tested for urine r/m. My RBC is 32-33 in urine test. Ultrasound and cect reports are normal without any stone in kidney or other part. Now what should I do to detect the reason for RBC rise in urine??

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Assuming the urine test was not done within one week of menses time,if you've not reached menopause, then you need a test called cystoscopy.
As both scans, Ultrasound and CECT are normal, the kidneys are normal.
Your flowrate test, will show, what is the severity of the obstruction in flow of urine.Your urine culture test must be done before the cystoscopy.A severe urinary infection, could be the cause for lower abdominal pain with blood in urine. The cystoscopy will give an idea about other causes of blood in urine.
