What Could Double Pneumonia With High Body Temperature, Suggest?

my son had double pnunmonia he home now with meds, however he has not been eating much. He has been drinking water, juice, tea & other liquids. He body temp has gone down to 96.5. is this normal, or should we go to the hospital and have him checked out?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
During infections because of the cytokines, appetite is decreased.
So once the infection is resolving, patient starts eating in normal manner. So increased appetite is a good positive sign of recovery.
So no need to worry for this.
About temperature of 96.5, it can be normal diurnal variation. So no need to worry for this.
I also advice you to get done repeat chest x ray to see for improvement in pneumonia.
