What Could Cause Very Sweaty Vinegar Smelling Hair In A 3 Years Old Child?

My son is 3 years old, and has very sweaty vinegar smelling hair. he also has a little bit of cradle cap, and I had been using my own quite strong smelling shampoo on him, My brother has type 1 diabetes, which he got at age 13. not sure whether this might be due to Cradle Cap or Diabetes?

Hi,

The sweaty vinegar smelling hair of your son is related to cradle cap. I suggest not to use your strong smelling shampoo on him.

Instead, you should use a baby hypo allergic shampoo, then, after washing, dry it well and apply baby oil or olive oil to keep it well moisten.

Hope it helped!
