Hello,

You are suffering from recurring painful, pus oozing lumps in the armpits. You are very uncomfortable with it. Lumps in the armpit are caused by a swollen lymph node or lymph gland. Other causes of lumps in armpits are cysts, lipomas, adverse reaction of vaccinations, fibroadenomas, allergic reactions, cancers, infection, fungal infections, breast cancer, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP to diagnose what is causing it so you can start a treatment plan.

Get physical examination done. Get all required investigations done like blood test or biopsy to rule out infections & cancer cells. Allergy testing may also be required to rule out allergic reaction. If the lump is suspected to be caused by infection or cancer you will have to get CBC, mammogram, culture of fluid from the lump, CT/MRI done. You will be treated accordingly. Lumps caused due to viral infections go away in a few weeks. Cancerous lumps may require radiation therapy, chemotherapy, surgery depending on the stage of malignancy.

Lumps are also caused by lupus is a chronic condition that cannot be cured but can be managed with medication and other treatments. Cysts or fibrous tissue are commonly removed by surgery. For allergic reaction, avoid and stay away from the allergen that is causing the lump. You can apply vitamin E based ointment to help the lump shrink. Apply Neosporin ointment to avoid the risk of infection and spread. You can take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin. Control blood glucose level at all cost.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
