What Could Cause Painful Ears After Blowing Nose Too Hard?

Have had allergies//sinus congestion//sinus infection (colored mucus..... Was strongly blowing nose after using a netti pot, and HEARD CRACKING SOUND in right side ear. This was NOT the standard popping as fluid drains/equalizes; this was a SNAP followed by sharp pain...... In the three or four days since, right side hearing is still somewhat muted (maybe 5% on a hearing scale) but the pain is constant though mild (15% on a pain meter). No obvious infection remains but general congestion//allergies (aka mucus/fluid) persist. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

There can small perforation due pressure while blowing nose as nose and ear are connected through eustuain tube.these perforations may heal spontaneously if small enough.
Try to keep ur ear dry and don't use any ear drops.u can some oral analgesics and take steam inhalation thrice daily for 5 days.
