I am unable to move without pain in my left rib cage even to the spine between shoulders, the er checked heart ok- and gave pain shot-next day went to dr. ct said that looked ok they thought it looked like I was backedup really bad?? have been having bowl movements but she stated it could be some stuck(sorry). Still I am haveing so many sharp pains and constant dull ack in area mentioned. called doc told them I forgot I did injur myself reaching for gas can and rope to tie up gas can reached a little to hard and i thought, I hurt myself. well forgot till I was doing something and bam felt like I was idk haveing a puntured lung or my goodness idk..
You need MRI spine to see for nerve or spine compression leading to radicular rib pain. If there is no neurological involvement then conservative brace or rest is sufficient
