What Could Cause Pain In Chest ,arm And Jaw?

I was having chest/arm/jaw pain so I went to the E.R. After having an EKG and a blood test to check for heart attack/stroke, the er doc told me that both my EKG and blood test were normal so he sent me home. That was a month ago. I just logged onto the hospital site where you can check test results, etc. and my EKG was anything but normal. Come ups as abnormal with Borderline Repolarization Abnormality and ST dep and abnormal T. Should I be concerned? Why did he send me home with an abnormal EKG?

Many times the printed ECG report will be wrong and may be misleading. Hence it is always advised that the treating doctor should analyze the ECG himself and arrive at a conclusion and not by simply seeing the printed report. Probably the doctor would have felt that the ECG was within normal variation and the blood test are being normal, he would have sent you to home. Hence I feel that there is no need for concern. However if you have repeated chest pain you have to undergo some additional investigation such as treadmil test.
