What Could Cause Faster Heartbeat With Sharp Pain In Chest?

Why do I sometims get a fast heart beat for a couple of seconds, then goes back to normal. I sometimes also get sharp pains, or burning sensation on chest. This year I got all the heart tests dones and it was normal. Wondering if I should go get another testing done. I don't like this feeling at all. Then I guess it adds stress and the symptom might get worst because of the stressful thoughts.

Hi welcome to HCM.
Anxiety in your case has lead to symptoms of palpitations and burning chest due to acid reflux.Palpitations in all such cases are benign in nature and do not warrant further investigations.A baseline EKG is all that is needed.Stress management with anxiolytics can help to predominantly control your symptoms.Drugs like pantoprazole can help to reduce the acid reflux and burning chest.Regular physical exercise can ameliorate most of your symptoms.Consult your cardiologist for further help if any.
Thank you
