What Could Cause Cough While In Basement?
hello, whenever I am in the basement - I cough during the day, I know I do not have a cold. My throat feels stratchy. My basement is dusty and damp every month. I try to clean the walls with vinegar and baking soda. I used my basement for storage such 100 pairs of shoes and clothes covered with plastic. I also have sealed can of paints. Do you think these cause my cough?

Hello.. One of the causes of Cough is sensitivity of respiratory mucosa ( Lining of the respiratory tract). Dust,Pollen,Paint are the very common agent causing allergy. If you use some protective measures like mask while working in basement, it would be helpful.
