What Could Cause Bluish Black Lump On Lower Lip And How To Cure It?

Hello! For the past few years there has been a small blackish/bluish looking bump on my lower lip. I can feel the bump when I touch it with my finger or tongue. I am desperate on knowing what it is and how I can can get of rid it. Another thing I want to know is, how did I get this bump in the first place? Thanks!!

Hi,

It seems that you may be having venous lake on lower lip. It is a dilated venules in the lip. It is a compressible, solitary, soft, violaceous papule containing blood. It is a benign condition. If you have no problem, it may be kept untreated. If it is embarrassing, then it may be treated. Surgical intervention or laser therapy may be done. You consult dermatologist or surgeon. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
