What Could Cause A Small Eraser Sized Red Spot Appearing On Shoulder?

a small pencil eraser-sized pinkish/red spot has appeared on my shoulder in the past few days. It is slightly raised. Can skin cancer appear overnight? Or, would a rash or skin reaction to something else seem likely? I am taking Ciprofloxacin and have tried to stay out of the sun but have had some exposure.

Hello

Welcome to Healthcaremagic

Thank you for providing the brief history.

As this might not be a skin cancer so please relax as there is no indicative symptoms of the skin cancer. For clearing doubt for now doing blood test will be good to clear your doubts

Sometimes red spots, white spots are just a change in physiological functions of the body and no where related to the skin cancer.

Regards
