Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
It can be a prepatellar bursiitis or meniscal cyst. I would suggest you to show to orhtopaedic surgeon and find out what is the cause of this swelling. He may asked you to do ultrasound or the MRi of the knee joint. Till then you should tale Brufen for pain relief. Avoid squatting and sitting on floor or knee bending.
