What Could Cause A Lump At The Back Of Head And Stiffness In Neck?
Hello, I feel like I have been punched in the upper stomach area and lower abdomen. Does this sound like a stomach bug/virus? Alos, this may be unrelated but I slipped on a wet floor a few days ago and banged my head. It s very painful and I have a big bump but I can t see ti because it is at the back of my head. I feel very sick and have a stiff neck and loss of appetite. Could the two be related? Many thanks for your time.
Hello ! Thank you for your question ! I understand your concern . Short Answer : I think you should have a neurological examination by a medical physician and a brain CT scan as soon as possible. Detailed answer : I think that the troubles with your stomach and your lower abdomen are related to the head trauma you have had few days ago. You should immediately see a doctor , have a full physical examination for neurological signs. A brain CT scan is necessary to exclude a post traumatic intracranial hemorrhage, which could cause all your symptoms . Wish to have been helpful! Dr. Abaz Quka , Neurologist
