What Could Cause A Extra Skin Growth On Arm ?

Hello. I have a skin growth on my arm for a few months. Sometimes it throbs sooo much it keeps me awake. I have to keep a bandage on it at all times because any clothing rubbing against it causes such pain. It has changed in size and formation. Should I be concerned?

Hi there.
I read your history & clinical description & I cannot say that I am happy with what I read.
Yes you need to be concerned if the 'skin tag' you allude to is 'painful' & 'throbbing' & you say it has changed in siz & formation!!
This suggests to me that it is a 'vascular phenomenon' or perhaps a 'dermatofibroma'. There are very few 'painful' skin tumors in dermatology.
It is probably best to schedule a visit with your dermatologist & get the lesion 'excisied' & 'biopsied' for best results.
Good Luck & hope you are soon rid of this issue.
