What Could Cause A Blister On The Ear Canal Also Cough And Congestion?

About a week ago I had a painful pimple-like blister at the beginning of my right ear cannal (on the back part) and was painful to the touch, outside the ear or in. Last night it really started to drain and still is, somewhat. This morning I woke up with a painful pimle-like blister in my right armpit.
I am not sure if this is pertinent, but I started a cough and being congested 3 days ago and just this morning was able cough flem up.
What is it? Should I be concerned?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello. it is likely that you are having a viral infection , which is causing the blisters and the discharge from them and also the fever, the infection seems to be spreading to your lungs and you may need antibiotics for preventing a super added bacterial infection. please meet your physician as soon as possible. thanks
