What Could Beating Noise In Ear While Turning The Head Indicate?

I kept hearing a noise in my ear that sounds like a beat when I turn my head the opposite way of my ear so, I thought I put baby oil in my ear but it was actually baby oil get that was for hair. I put hot water in my ear to get it unclogged but it didn t help. Later, I used a q-tip but that didnt help either.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you did well on putting on warm water. Keep the head down on that side of ear in order that it drains down. The noise may be due to congestion so taking decongestants such pseudoephedrine can help. Use Tylenol to help with pain and also congestion since it contains pseudoephedrine. Visit an ENT doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
