What Could Be The Reasons Of Recurring Lip Crack Which Started After Kissing A Gay Guy?

Male, 42 years old. Gay Side of lips cracks every 2 weeks or so. No pus. No blisters bursting. Weird num feeling sometimes inside of lips. The symptoms began after kissing a gay guy ONE time in a disco. I could not see the guy, because it was dark. So I have no idea how his lips looked like.

Dermatologist 's  Response
hello friend,

welcome to healthcaremagic. i read your query and understood your concern.

Such symptoms can be seen in a condition called herpes labialis.

It may not be associated with obvious blistering sometimes.

But numbness can be felt in herpes infection.

So, i will advice you to visit your dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis so that correct medication can be started.

Thanx
