What Could Be The Reason For Having Upper Abdominal Fullness And Discomfort?

I have a lot of upper abdominal fullness and discomfort. It is usually a bit better after a night of rest. What could be causing this? my upper abdomen is much larger than my lower abdomen. I had a cholecystectomy about 4 years back and this problem started afterwards.

Hi. Your history makes me think of a hernia in the upper abdomen as you get relief on lying down at night, swelling/ larger in the upper abdomen, developed after surgery for gall stones. Please go a check up by a Gastro Surgeon for a proper diagnosis to get a proper treatment.
